Someone went to the trouble of registering a domain that contains the name of this website with a company based in Iceland (IceNetworks Ltd.). The Icelandic angle provides complete anonymity when signing up and the possibility of using cryptocurrencies and cash by mail. The company doesn’t care who does what with their services. While the registrant keeps details of who registered the domain, the registrar was UK based TLD Registrar Solutions according to a WHOIS search. The content of this site was then copied, and what will likely happen is that soon every article ever published here is going to be the subject of a fake copyright infringement claim (DMCA) that Google will process immediately.
In the AI era, filing copyright infringement claims from India, Venezuela, Pakistan or Seychelles is as simple as asking any chatbot to write a paragraph citing relevant legislation. No search engine or social media company checks whether claims are legitimate. The Lumen database keeps a record of all such DMCA claims already processed, and it shows that this site has hundreds of them.
Some were filed by made up names and email addresses from different jurisdictions, and others are impersonators using the name and fake email addresses of former collaborators and the editor of this website.
Given Google’s policy of trimming down search and quality of results -to improve its AI chatbots and beat the competition- the time when the kind of information published here keeps being searchable and findable with search engines and chatbots is rapidly coming to a close.
Bookmarking will become critical again. Newsletters are already doing that. Something as simple and effective as a Google search once was is no longer useful. The quality and variety of results nowadays are shit. The useful operators to run advanced searches aren’t any good either. The algorithm is no longer bringing stacks of pdfs and Excel sheets as it used to.

Venezuela was easily the most corrupt country in the Western Hemisphere. That has not changed under the tutelage of Donald Trump after removal of Nicolas Maduro on January 3rd 2026. It continues to be the land of the opportunists, of the snatch & grab merchant, of cowboys comfortable dealing in / with criminals and stashing the loot far from tax collecting authorities. None of it will change when Trump passes the torch to JD Vance or to another handpicked candidate, unless free and fair elections come to pass beforehand.
