The Venezuelan e-voting company Smartmatic features prominently in United States of America v Juan Andres Donato Bautista, a criminal complaint filed recently by Markenzy Lapointe, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. The complaint describes how Smartmatic, Antonio Mugica and other top executives of the firm bribed their way into a $199 million contract granted by Juan Andres Donato Bautista (bribes recipient). Bautista is a former head of Philippines's Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

EU on Smartmatic: no independent third party audits have been conducted on any part of the electronic voting system.

Oh the glee of Antonio Mugica -founder / CEO of Smartmatic and very first specimen of the bolichico class- must be stratospheric right now. Donald Trump's entirely baseless electoral fraud claims will legitimise Mugica's e-voting company forevermore. The best voting company chavista money could buy has an unblemished track record. Till Trump appeared, Smartmatic had a legitimately earned average of 100% on elections in which it had participated marred by genuine fraud allegations.
