PDVSA US Litigation Trust, the farce brought by thug David Boies against Francisco Morillo, Helsinge, Trafigura, Vitol, Glencore et al was dismissed by Judge Darrin Gayles last Friday, for "lack of subject matter jurisdiction." The good thing is that Boies and his merry band of co-conspirators won't be able to steal 66% of whatever proceeds would've been obtained through that civil action in Florida. The bad thing is that a separate criminal probe continues in Geneva, and Juan Guaidó's new General Legal Counsel (Procurador) is Ignacio Hernandez, the same legal expert employed by Morillo, Helsinge, Trafigura, Vitol, Glencore et al to prove illegality of Boies' trust. That is, the expert that acted against PDVSA in Florida is to act for PDVSA in Geneva. Boies et al continued involvement in PDVSA's Swiss action means that Hernandez and Boies are now on the same side, against Hernandez's former contracting parties. There's an inescapable conflict of interests there. It can only be hoped that DoJ will continue probing David Boies' little arrangement with PDVSA and the galloping corruption perpetrated over the years against PDVSA by Morillo, Helsinge, Trafigura, Vitol, Glencore et al.
